The Northern Quarter's Common, Erst in Ancoats, and the new Schofield's cocktail bar on Little Quay Street all confirmed their temporary closures on social media.

The venues will all be shut for at least the next few days, with several staff members self-isolating. Bosses at the businesses said they've been faced with 'difficult decisions' to make, after a challenging year for hospitality.
