Manchester United have reportedly been knocked back again in their efforts to sign Ansu Fati after having a massive £135million offer turned down by Barcelona.Rumours emerged earlier this month that Jorge Mendes had contacted Barca’s hierarchy on behalf of United to enquire about Fati’s availability, tabling an initial offer worth €100m (£90m).That was rejected and it seems the Spanish champions will not budge for an offer worth almost £50m more than the first one.According to The Times, a second offer added an additional €50m (£45m) in performance-related add-ons, taking the total value to £135m, but the Spaniards want more. The report claims that Barca told the intermediary working on behalf of United that Fati can only leave if his €170m.
