BBC to show live Premier League matches with 25 games set for free-to-air TV

Live Premier League football will be shown on the BBC for the first time since the league’s inception in 1992. Four live games will be shown when the Premier League returns in June to complete the 2019-20 campaign, following its coronavirus suspension.

The Premier League confirmed on Thursday that it will return to action, provided it is safe to do so, on June 17. And it also confirmed that all 92 remaining matches would be shown live on TV.

Main rights holder Sky Sports will show 64 of the remaining games, which kick off with Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United.
