Germany has announced plans to make wearing face masks in public compulsory in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus and it could soon be enforced in the UK too.
The UK Government's Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) met earlier this week to discuss the issue for the second time in a number of days.
The Prime Minister's spokesman said: "SAGE did meet yesterday to look at further evidence relating to the effectiveness of masks in preventing the transmission of the disease. “They're now finalising their advice and it will be presented to ministers shortly."Once ministers have looked at it and made a decision we will publicly announce what that is."So far ministers have refused to tell the public to wear proper medical
