WILMINGTON, Del. - President-elect Joe Biden and soon-to-be first lady Jill Biden will depart their hometown of Wilmington, Delaware on Tuesday for the final time before Inauguration Day, when he will be sworn-in as the country’s next president.The Bidens are planning to attend a "send-off event" in Wilmington in the afternoon where Biden will give remarks, according to a schedule from his transition team.
