A wedding dress is normally saved for the most special day in someone's life - for one Bolton woman, that was a bin day. Emma Rowles, from Sharples in Bolton, first wore the gown seven years ago on her wedding day.
But as she sat through her 40th birthday in coronavirus lockdown last week, the mum-of-one decided she wanted to brush up for the occasion and joked that she would wear her wedding dress to take the bins out.
Emma said: "We were meant to be going to Manchester as it was my 40th birthday - nice hotel, meal at James Martin. "I had been looking for a nice outfit but there was no point once we went into lockdown. "I had also had info from Bolton Council saying our black bin was going out on the 8th - my 40th - so I said to my
