Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA  (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Boris Johnson has been accused of breaking coronavirus laws by taking part in a quiz in Downing Street. London was under Tier 2 rules when the Christmas quiz is beleived to have taken place last year, which banned social mixing between households.

The Prime Minister was allegedly pictured on a screen as he read out questions for the quiz, The Mirror reports. READ MORE : All of them thought they were hard.

All of them ended up in handcuffs A source told the paper that many staff 'huddled by computers' as they took part, and drank alcohol.

Halfway through the quiz, the PM surprised staff by turning up on screen as quizmaster for one round which lasted between 10 and 15 minutes.
