A "miracle" baby born with part of his brain missing has died, his family said. Jaxon Buell, from Florida in the US, passed away "peacefully and comfortably" on April 1, his parents Brandon and Brittany said.

The boy was born with a rare brain malfunction called Microhydranencephaly, a severe development abnormality. Brandon told Today that Jaxon's death had nothing to do with coronavirus and that the tragic tot had entered into a hospice after showing signs his body was slowing down. PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
