British Soap Awards joins long list of events cancelled due to pandemic

Most of the events due to take place in the coming months have either been cancelled or postponed and the British Soap Awards has become the latest to be pulled.

A decision has reportedly been made by bosses to cancel this year’s Soap Awards due to the current coronavirus pandemic. The awards, which were due to air in Spring 2020, have been pulled from screens altogether and will instead return in 2021.
