Bruce Springsteen hasn’t minced his words about President Donald Trump, describing the POTUS as a ‘threat to democracy’ while also celebrating his low poll numbers. The Born In The USA singer, who has been particularly vocal about Trump throughout his presidency, has berated the commander-in-chief after peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters were tear-gassed near the White House so he could take a photo posing with a Bible outside a church.
It was the moment which Bruce, 70, believes was the final nail in the coffin for Trump’s hopes of securing a second term in office later this year.
Speaking to The Atlantic, the musician said: ‘What’s more, our president’s numbers appear to be crashing through the basement.
