FILMING on the new series of Call The Midwife has been postponed, making it the latest British show forced to shut down amid the ongoing pandemic.
The BBC has also confirmed filming on the Christmas special has been put on hold. "Very sadly, we have had to postpone the filming of this year's Call the Midwife Christmas Special and Series 10," read a statement shared on social media. "Our priority is the safety of our amazing cast and crew, and we don't believe that shooting at the current time is feasible or responsible.
