She is said to be in stable condition.It was unclear if the injured person was driving. No further details regarding the crash were made available.Video from the scene showed a crumbled brick wall, with bricks scattered across the lawn.

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a crash in Northeast Philadelphia involving a teenager behind the wheel, according to authorities. Police say a traffic officer on patrol saw a Toyota Camry being driven at a high rate of speed in the area of Grant Avenue and Bluegrass Road around 2:30 a.m. The officer began to follow the vehicle as it traveled to Welsh and Bluegrass where it almost crashed into a marked police car, authorities say. At the intersection of Welsh Road and Dewees Street, the car jumped the curb, crashed through the fence of a private home, and drove over the lawn before it was launched into the air and landed on another car, Chief Inspector Scott Small said. The car then crashed into the front of two twin homes, putting a large crack in the stone in the front of the property, authorities say. PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia senior citizen is hoping someone will return her vehicle after she says it was stolen in the parking lot of a local dollar store.The 80-year-old woman who wanted to only be identified as Shirley told FOX 29 that she was outside the Dollar Tree on Front and Olney streets when someone came up behind her, reached into her pocket and took her keys. The alleged thief then hopped in Shirley's 2016 Jeep Compass and sped off. More than 50 shots fired in West Philadelphia shooting that killed 18-year-old, police say

PHILADELPHIA - Homicide detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department are investigating after a teenager was shot and killed in West Philadelphia on Monday night. According to police, 18th District officers responded to numerous 911 calls for gunshots and a shooting at 52nd and Larchwood Streets just before 10 p.m. Chief Inspector Scott Small says responding officers found an 18-year-old on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds to his head, chest and back. Authorities say he was unresponsive and bleeding heavily. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficers rushed the 18-year-old to Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police say. According to Small, at least 52 shots were fired from two separate caliber weapons, including a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun. Authorities say they believe two shooters were standing close to the victim at the time of the shooting. Investigators are still processing the crime scene and checking surveillance cameras in the area as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police: Woman, 2 children injured in West Philadelphia hit-and-run

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a woman and two children were hit by a car that jumped the curb late Monday night in West Philadelphia. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the intersection of 50th Street and Haverford Avenue around 10 p.m. for reports of a hit-and-run. Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that a 29-year-old woman and two sisters, ages 3 and 13, were standing on the side of the road when a vehicle jumped the curb, hit a fire hydrant and slammed into the three victims. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESSmall said the vehicle, which appears to be a dark-colored Nissan, continued driving after it struck the woman and two children. According to police, the 29-year-old woman was brought to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition with a severe leg injury.

Watch: Man attacked by raccoon while walking in South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia man was filming baby raccoons during a late night walk in the city when an adult raccoon suddenly charged and bit him. Benjamin McCool told FOX 29 he was walking near 18th and Christian streets in early July when he spotted the raccoon kits scaling an alleyway fence. "They're like acrobats right now," McCool can be heard saying to his friends. McCool kept his distance as the raccoons dropped one-by-one from the fence, when suddenly and adult raccoon charged McCool and nipped him in the leg. "It bit me! It bit me! It bit me!" McCool can be heard screaming on the video. The video then cuts to McCool receiving treatment for the raccoon bite and detailing the series of rabies shots he needed. About two weeks later, McCool said he finished his regiment of shots that included a trio of jabs the night of the attack and three return trips for other shots. He told FOX 29 that if he sees raccoons again, he'll stay away.
