Casualty fans fume as tonight's show axed in major schedule-shakeup

Casualty viewers were raging this week after it was announced tonight's episode was being axed. The huge BBC schedule shake-up certainly left fans of the show unimpressed and they took to Twitter to broadcast their fury.

News of the cancellation was unveiled earlier on Casualty's official Twitter, with the show sharing a post with their 399.9k followers.

The statement which left viewers upset read: "There is sadly no #Casualty on this weekend. But absence makes the heart grow fonder right?!
