Authorities ordered a poorly pet cat into quarantine after it tested positive for coronavirus during a visit to the vets. Humans across the world have been facing the daily reality of self-isolation and social distancing for the past few months after the Covid-19 pandemic spread across the globe.
But now it has been reported that Russia has imposed quarantine on a cat for the first time. The ill feline was diagnosed after its owner took the animal to a veterinary clinic in Moscow, RT reports.
Nikolai Vlasov, deputy head of Russia’s national vet service, said the cat tested positive after being tested with nose and throat swabs.
