LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that out of more than 4 million of the first administered doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, only 10 cases of anaphylaxis — a rare, life-threatening allergic reaction — have occurred.Using the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, the health agency said it detected the 10 cases of the severe reaction after administering 4,041,396 doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine.
