Centre prohibits B-schools from hiking course fee for this year

The directives from the AICTE come against the backdrop of the disruption of the academic calendar because of the lockdown and underline the need to be considerate towards students The technical education regulator has asked management schools to not hike fees in 2020-21, a move that will ease the burden on hundreds of thousands of students who may be facing financial problems because of the ongoing lockdown.

It has also asked B-schools to admit final-year undergraduates in MBA courses and allow them till 31 December to provide proof of their bachelor’s degree.
