Chris Martin has revealed that he ‘doesn’t smell great’ as he spends his third month in coronavirus quarantine. The Coldplay frontman disclosed in a chat with Greg James on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show that he’s been self-isolating with his producer at home, and he thinks the lockdown is ‘good’ for his friends, who do not have to put up with his stench.

When Greg quizzed Chris on whether or not he takes baths, he responded: ‘I’m not really a bather. ‘I don’t smell particularly great which is why isolation for a lot of my friends has been good, they haven’t had to physically smell me.’ Well that’s good to know then.

The 43-year-old also reminisced about Coldplay’s headline set at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2016, which will be replayed on BBC
