The pic also featured Bess Armstrong and Tom Irwin (who played Angela’s parents), Devon Odessa (Angela’s former best friend Sharon Cherski), Mary Kay Place (Sharon’s mom), Devon Gummersall (Brian Krakow), and A.J.

Langer (Rayanne Graff). Winnie Holzman, who created the show, and husband Paul Dooley (who played Angela’s grandfather), rounded out the crew.
