When Coleen Rooney's younger sister Rosie passed away in 2013, the star was left heartbroken. Now, on the 11th anniversary of her death, the 37 year old has penned an emotional tribute to her sibling.

Coleen shared a series of memories of her sister, who was just 14 when she died, on Instagram, including one with her eldest son Kai, 14, who was born in 2009, and another of Rosie looking at a laptop.

The star, who is married to Wayne Rooney, captioned the post: "11 years without you. We love and miss you always Rosie Mc." Coleen also posted an Instagram story of her sister with the words, "Love you to the moon and back." Fans were quick to show their support to Coleen in the comments section, and one wrote, "In her short life, all she knows is that she was immensely loved and cared for by you and the whole family." Another said, "Can't believe it's been 11 years." The McLoughlins - Coleen's maiden name - took Rosie in as a foster child, sadly passed away after her lifelong battle with Rett syndrome, which is a rare brain disorder that can cause severe disabilities.The condition is thought to affect 1 in 12,000 girls born each year and is only rarely seen in boys.
