Comedian Syd Little is pleased to be able to attend his lifelong comedy partner Eddie Large’s funeral amid the coronavirus pandemic. Eddie died earlier this month aged 78 after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
The funeral was originally limited to five people due to the coronavirus social distancing rules, but funeral directors have allowed some changes.
It will be held at South Bristol Crematorium and, according to the Mirror, funeral directors have told his widow Patsy that there is now a 10-person limit.
Eddie’s agent Peter Mansfield said last night: ‘They are all very pleased.’ Syd recently revealed that co-star Eddie was ‘laughing through the pain’ before he died.
