Eddie Large’s family, friends and fans bid farewell to the comedian at his funeral in Bristol on Friday. The late comedy legend – who was already battling heart failure – died on April 2 at the age of 78 after contracting coronavirus.
Hundreds of people lined the streets as the Little And Large comedian’s hearse made its way along the high street to the crematorium.
Mourners observed social distancing guidelines as they applauded the late star on his final journey. Only 10 close family and friends were permitted to attend the funeral, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and his comedy partner Syd Little – who was accompanied by his wife Sheree – delivered a eulogy.
