The Government has said there have been concerns about non-compliance in relation to social distancing and coronavirus, and it is continuing to monitor the situation.
Assistant Secretary at the Department of An Taoiseach Elizabeth Canavan said clear, simple public messaging would be provided so that the people could continue to enjoy outdoor places like parks.
She said the most important advice for the public was to wash your hands and continue to practise social distancing. Earlier Minister for Health Simon Harris said the country needs to get social distancing right and getting it right will make the difference between saving lives or not.
