The number of cases of COVID-19 in Lanarkshire has jumped by nearly 30 per cent in one day.A total of 75 people now having tested positive for the virus - a rise from Monday’s figure of 58.The 29.3 per cent increase comes less than 24 hours from the Prime Minister’s lockdown of the country.A total of 584 coronavirus tests in Scotland were positive with 16 patients who tested positive have died.The news comes as North Lanarkshire Council released important information for key workers who require school support to enable them to carry on with their essential roles.The local authority said: “The list of schools below will be open from Tuesday, March 24, for the children of key workers.
