Cops issue warning after Scots beauty spot trashed by litter louts

Scots beauty spot and leaving a "disgusting mess". Reports of litter being left across Scotland's parks and green spaces have rocketed since the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Furious wardens were stunned to find a trash-strewn site on the Pentland Hills on Friday when they came across camping equipment and piles of rubbish left behind, as well as a mobile phone.

In a statement issued via the regional park's official Facebook page, they urged members of the public to report any instances of anti-social behaviour.They said: "Our officers have been cleaning up some disgusting messes today, at both Bonaly and Harlaw."If you see groups making a mess in the hills (or any other kind of anti-social behaviour), please call 101 if after 4.30pm,.
