PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESS: Live news as it happens A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed officers had been called to the street after reports of a mass gathering.He said: “Police were called to an address in Springbank Terrace, Paisley, in the early hours of Sunday morning to reports of a mass gathering of people.“On arrival, around 100 people were found to be within the property and garden area, in breach of current Covid-19 guidelines.“One person was given a Fixed Penalty Notice under Covid-19 legislation and the rest of the party guests were asked to leave.”He added: “Covid-19 is still with us and government guidelines, while amended, are still in place and we need to continue to take steps to protect ourselves and the more vulnerable.
