An app has been created by researchers that could potentially tell if you have Covid-19, just by analysing your voice. Although the app, designed by Researchers at Pennsylvania’s Carnegie Mellon University is still in its infancy, it aims to be the cheapest and fastest way to diagnose the Covid-19 bug.
Benjamin Striner, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student who worked on the app, said in a recent interview: “I’ve seen a lot of competition for the cheapest, fastest diagnosis you can have, “And there are some pretty good ones that are actually really cheap and pretty accurate, but nothing’s ever going to be as cheap and as easy as speaking into a phone.” The clever app has not yet been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or
