The Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday decided to defer the payment of salaries to the chief minister, cabinet ministers and IAS officers amid coronavirus lockdown.
The deferments will range from 10 to 100 per cent for different categories of employees. The chief minister, ministers and legislators will get a cut of 100 per cent, state government ordered.
For IAS, IPS and IFS officers, there will be a 60 per cent deferment. All the other employees will get only 50 per cent of their pay.
