As many as twelve fresh cases of COVID-19 disease were reported from several parts of Maharashtra today. At present, there are 147 coronavirus patients in the Maharashtra, highest in the country.
All the new patients are the contacts or relatives of those who earlier tested positive for novel coronavirus, reported ANI.
The death toll in the state has climbed to four after The state's death toll has risen to 5, including two women, both 65, who passed away on March 24 and March 26. "From the new COVID-19 suspects or cases, we are concentrating on those with social contact like families, neighbours, relatives, friends, etc," Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said.
