A doctor and MP has given an insight into what it's like working in a hospital during the coronavirus pandemic. Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, MP for Tooting has shared a day at her local hospital, St George's, during the ongoing crisis.
She says frontline staff are "terrified" of losing patients to the diesase and passing the deadly virus onto their loved ones due to the lack of protective equipment available to them.
Dr Allin-Khan is urging people to say indoors if "we are to protect those closest to us". 6.30am – Leaving the house On the way to work in A&E, to help out the real heroes of the frontline – the NHS staff who work day-in, day-out to keep us all safe.
