A dad with no underlying health issues has died from coronavirus. Danny Cairns, 68, from Greenock, Scotland, is believed to have passed away at Inverclyde Royal Hospital this morning, the Daily Record reports.
He has been described as a 'happy and smiling' dad - and a popular local football coach. It is understood the dad-of-three was taken to hospital on Monday and never recovered from Covid-19, despite not having any other known health issues.
Danny’s brother Hugh Cairns and his wife Faye, who live in California, said he was “loved and respected by all who came in contact with him” and was a “genuine, gentle, giving and kind Christian man“.
