Holby City and Casualty have donated their equipment to the NHS to fight the coronavirus. BBC's stars of the medical soaps use professional equipment and items as props to make the shows appear realistic while on screen.
Now bosses have decided to give personal protective equipment and other useful tools to the NHS frontline as the UK continues its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
TV stars no longer require the equipment as filming has come to a total stand still after the UK government has advised everyone to social distance and stay home where possible.
Executive Producer of Holby City and Casualty Simon Harper praised the "courageous and selfless real-life medics" fighting the coronavirus epidemic.
