Coronavirus: Man only able to eat nuggets due to condition gets year's supply from Asda

A young man who has a rare medical condition which means he can only eat chicken nuggets has been given a year's supply. John Morgan struggles to eat certain types of food due to muscle-wasting condition Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The 21-year-old is able to eat Asda own-brand chicken nuggets and replacement meal drinks, Wales Online reported. The Cardiff man's mum Sharon has been unable to find any of the battered meat goods however, due to coronavirus related stockpiling.

Sharon, from Ely, said: "That's all he can eat. He has Ensure [a replacement meal drink] to keep him going but he will lose weight when he's not able to eat. "He loves food - he loves burgers, sausages, McDonald's - but he can't eat them as he chokes.
