Coronavirus nurse 'upset' at note calling her 'a disgrace' after 12-hour shift

An NHS nurse was targeted after a gruelling 12-hour shift when she had a note shoved through her door calling her "a disgrace".

Coronavirus lockdown vigilantes are taking it upon themselves to punish "Cov-idiots" who they suspect of breaking the social distancing guidelines.

But they aren’t always getting their facts right before taking action. Bex Williams, an NHS nurse at Peterborough Hospital, Cambridgeshire, returned from a 12 hour night shift to find a note had been shoved through her door.

The handwritten message read: "You are a disgrace and you have been reported! Stay at Home Saves Lives". Ms Williams has no idea who left it at her home in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, but believes it may have been an ill-informed neighbour.
