Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe on Thursday announced a new wage supplement for essential workers in the province, which would be provided for up to 16 weeks, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moe said $400 a month will be provided as a “temporary wage top up” for those who currently earn less than $2,500 per month.
