After an anonymous tip cops discovered 17 dead bodies in a nursing home stored in a small morgue. The bodies were discovered in one of the largest nursing homes in New Jersey after cops went to check the shed, where they were told a corpse had been stored.
The New York Times reports that although the one body had been removed, 17 others were discovered inside the home. A small morgue that contained the bodies could hold no more than four people. “They were just overwhelmed by the amount of people who were expiring,” said Eric C.
Danielson, the police chief in Andover, told the New York Times. The bodies discovered are among 68 deaths linked to the long-term care facility in the last few weeks.
