Coronavirus Scotland: Virtual hospice for Scottish children in isolation has clown doctor and story-telling services

A virtual children’s hospice has been launched for kids in isolation, complete with clown doctor, story-telling and online medical services.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) is taking its hospices into the homes of children with life-shortening conditions, in response to the coronavirus crisis.

The charity behind Rachel House Children's Hospice, in Kinross, is offering vital support and entertainment by phone and video to those who are self-isolating or unable to visit a hospice.

Families can also access nursing, medical and pharmacy advice as well as support in bereavement, financial advice and information about coronavirus.
