Coronavirus has shut Asia’s most outrageous red-light district – putting dozens of professional ladyboys out of business. Eerie photos show how Pattaya’s notorious Walking Street was left deserted after the Thai government banned nightlife in a desperate bid to slow the virus’s spread.

One cop said: “It’s been killed off by coronavirus. Dead for two months. Maybe more.” The street’s usually packed go-go bars are deserted, while brothels, striptease nightclubs, and ping-pong shows are all shut.

Among the closed clubs are Infinity Ago-go, Moulin Rouge, Sensations and Black Banana. A sign outside Infinity Ago-go reads: “We are close for 2 months due to Coronas Virus out break.
