Tekashi 6ix9ine is reportedly begging a judge to let him out of prison during the coronavirus pandemic because he has asthma.
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is currently serving a two-year sentence for racketeering. But it's said that because he has asthma, he's worried about catching COVID-19 behind bars.
In a letter obtained by TMZ, the rapper's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, asked the judge to release his client as soon as possible.
The letter, sent on Sunday, cites serious concerns for 6ix9ine's wellbeing because he has asthma, and therefore catching coronavirus could be much more serious.
