Coronavirus: Trudeau says vaccines a discussion point with provinces, but focus is on stopping virus spread

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday said the federal government is having conversations with provinces on the rollout of a potential COVID-19 vaccine, but said the primary focus now is on getting through the second wave and lowering the spread of the coronavirus as vaccines are still “many months away.” He said they are also engaging with partners like the military on delivering a vaccine, but said while there they see a “light at the end of the tunnel coming,” they need to ensure they get through the winter “as best we can.”.
