Up to 30 teenagers have been linked to a coronavirus outbreak in Plymouth after returning home from a holiday in Zante. At least 11 youngsters have tested positive following the trip to the Greek island, which is not on the UK quarantine list, Plymouth Live reports.
Some of the infected teens reportedly went out partying in the city over the weekend, potentially spreading the disease. Plymouth City Council said the people who have tested positive have either shown no signs of Covid-19 or just minor symptoms, such as a sore throat.
The authority said as many as 30 young people around the ages of 18 and 19, mainly from Plymouth, could be linked to the outbreak after returning home last week.
