This week, researchers at the University of Oxford have started human trials of a COVID-19 vaccine in the UK. Professor Adrian Hill, Director of the Jenner Institute at the University of Oxford: “Vaccines are being designed from scratch and progressed at an unprecedented rate. “The upcoming trial will be critical for assessing the feasibility of vaccination against COVID-19 and could lead to early deployment.” But how will the trial actually work, and when could we seen the vaccine deployed to the public?
