Kate Garraway has opened up about the ‘hardest time of her life’ as husband Derek Draper battles coronavirus. The Good Morning Britain star’s partner was recently rushed to hospital with symptoms, and is still in a deeply critical condition in intensive care.
And, penning a candid blog post on her Club Garraway site, the 52-year-old spoke out about the ‘worrying time’ her family is facing. ‘You may have seen the news over the last couple of weeks and seen that my husband Derek has been seriously ill in hospital with Covid-19,’ she began. ‘I am afraid that he remains in a critical condition and is very ill. ‘It remains an extremely worrying time for us all and the last couple of weeks have been the hardest of my life.
