The Queen is reportedly being looked after by just a dozen staff and has been keeping in touch with family through video calls during lockdown.
The 94-year-old monarch has been isolating with husband Prince Phillip, 98, at Windsor Castle amid the coronavirus pandemic.
For their protection, the pair have been staying in private apartments, according to the Times, to which only a very small number of staff have been given access.
Windsor Castle is home to 150 people, including staff and retired military officers. But no one outside of a select group of employees is allowed to enter the Upper Ward, where the apartments are located, to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
