Panic buyers are stripping supermarket shelves bare of essentials like soap, pasta and toilet roll. Coronavirus is sweeping the world and the UK government is urging people to socially isolate themselves to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Globally, more than 200,000 people have now been confirmed as infected and the UK death toll stands at 144. Supermarkets have started rationing the amount of goods each customer can now buy as people stockpile in case they have to self-isolate.
Some stores are also only allowing people in the most vulnerable groups in during certain times in a bid to make sure people can still get the food and other items they need.
