In the darkness of the coronavirus crisis, most people are doing their best, in the worst of times. Some can work, while others wait to see if their jobs will ever return.

Daily chores can seem a bigger chore than ever before. Even the basics of life, sleeping and eating can prove difficult, in this new, topsy-turvy world.

There is some good news with the virus under some limited control here, for now. The rate of infection is reduced and admissions to ICU are down.

It's the actions of citizens that have brought Ireland to this precious position. This is an astonishing feat, not to be easily squandered.
