Mumbai: On Tuesday, Maharashtra added 150 new cases of Covid-19, taking the total number of infected people in the state to 1,018 patients, according to data from the public health department of Maharashtra.
There were 12 deaths in the state taking the toll to 64, while 79 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after full recovery.
While Mumbai recorded the highest number of cases at 642 Covid-19 positive patients and 40 deaths, Pune’s tally stood at 130 with 18 new cases and eight deaths, followed by Navi Mumbai that had 28 cases and two deaths, Kalyan-Dombivli that had 24 cases and one death, Thane with 21 cases and three deaths and Pimpri-Chinchwad area that had 17 confirmed cases.
