Scottish Government to halt the surge in cases across the country. Scotland recorded its highest number of daily covid cases for a second day in a row yesterday.
At a government briefing earlier this week the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said some measures could be reimposed if cases don't start to fall.
Other measures being considered include new rules on social distancing and so-called vaccine certificates.It is believed that the most recent lifting of restrictions will be the first to be considered for reversal by SNP ministers.Yesterday, there were five new deaths reported while 5,021 people returned positive cases over the last 24-hour period.There are currently 391 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 44 being treated.
