Scottish Labour has demanded a return to parliament for MSPs as he warns Covid cases in Scotland are getting "out of control".
Anas Sarwar has called for the gap between first and second vaccinations to be halved to four weeks to deal with the “out of control” spread of coronavirus.
It comes after the World Health Organisation (WHO) revealed that Scotland had six of Europe's top 10 covid hot spots last week.The region with highest number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in Europe is Tayside - with 1,002 recorded over the previous fortnight as of June 30.In second place was Lothian with 990 recorded cases per 100,000 people, then Greater Glasgow with 735.
