Covid passports are 'a priority', government says - holidays abroad could get green light in weeks

A number of popular tourist destinations, including Greece, have announced that they will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test result at their borders.

Under Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, holidays abroad could resume on May 17 at the earliest. That means ministers will have to act quickly to introduce a certification system that will allow Brits to travel from next month.
