Eleanor Roaf, director for public health for Trafford, welcomed the ‘fantastic news’. She said: “The good news is that our rates are dropping in Trafford.
We are really seeing a significant decrease which is fantastic news and I think testament to all of the efforts that everybody has been putting in, especially the efforts of the people of Trafford.” Ms Roaf said the borough’s highest rates are currently being seen in the 17 to 29 year old age group.
